About This Charred Pine Stool

New Zealand pine, charred to a matte black surface. The grain and natural knots remain visible under the char — each piece carries the specific markings of the wood it came from. Low beside a bed, beside a sofa, or used as a meditation seat. Heavy for its size at 10 kg, which is the point.
