Mino-Yaki is a traditional Japanese pottery that originated in the Tono area of Gifu prefecture. The paints used in Mino-Yaki are a mixture of metallic components such as iron, copper, cobalt, or manganese with soda or charcoal. After the delicate lines are drawn, the pieces are fired between 700 and 800℃ (about 1292 to 1472℉)【𝟳𝟬𝟬 𝘁𝗼 𝟴𝟬𝟬°𝗖】【𝟳𝟬𝟬 𝘁𝗼 𝟴𝟬𝟬°𝗖】, which is lower than the glost firing to prevent colors from scattering.

Worth the list price, excellent quality.

Only concern is the handle may leave the lid less than airtight, I would have to remove the inside cover to view where it connects. I hope it is sealed from the inside, sure we will find out if tea dries out. Quick hot glue gun on the outside would solve it if it's not sealed
